Red Glare's voice is like the tattered velour bench seat of an '89 grand marquee and the new wave Buddy Holly.
With a namesake derived from '80s cult band The Sisters of Mercy, Shakespeare/Livy-penned poetic biography, and 16th c. Borgia legend, Boston, Massachusetts' musicians Lucretia's Daggers blend darkwave, synthpop, and ambient metal with dramatic female vocals and have brought an arty touch to their "socio-political, mixed-genre, dark lyrical electro-rock for the apocalypse" since August 2001.
Leading the group is Lucretia X. Machina on vox and lyrics, longtime member Donni Darko on bass, backing vox and lyrics, and as of January 2022, Horace Grimsby on guitar and backing vox with his trusty laptop LAZARUS in the band's most prolific musical lineup yet.
A Fifth Column is a long-time Boston-based electronica dark wave duo act performing in the Boston/Providence area for many many years. The band consists of Joseph H. on keyboards synthesizers vocals electronic drums. Filling out the duo on additional keyboards is Rich Buffone. Heavily influenced by the new wave era from England,
