HAFFWAY is the artist half of producer and writer Sam Westhoff, blending folk and indie alternative with a touch of cynicism. What began as an accidental outlet for Sam’s creative burnout quickly turned into a new artistic chapter. The first song, “I Don’t Need You Anymore,” started as therapy and paved the way for HAFFWAY’s debut EP, Prequel. The project’s success not only resonated with fans but also attracted like-minded artists to Sam’s production door.
Born and raised in Nashville, RYMAN has spent years shaping a sound he proudly calls “Y’allternative.” The 20-year-old singer-songwriter has been chasing melodies since preschool. “I’ve been coming up with melodies ever since I can remember. At three years old, I was humming or singing lyrics without knowing where they came from,” he says.
That instinct hasn’t slowed. His upcoming single, “Lose,” out January 2025, kicks off the next wave of his music. Rooted in Pop, Alternative, and Singer-Songwriter traditions, RYMAN’s work stands out for its storytelling and his knack for lyrics that hit both aesthetically and emotionally.
His influences stretch from Jackson Browne and The Beatles to contemporary voices like Ryan Beatty and Dominic Fike — a broad palette he pulls from to craft songs that aim to inspire the way his heroes inspired him.
Looking forward, RYMAN sees a future where he’s making a living through both sides of his passion: his own artist project and writing for others.
